Goal
Prepare people new to the fundraising profession to take on leadership roles; raise awareness of service, community and impact in youth; prepare college students to move into the fundraising field; and educate senior professionals about the importance of mentoring.
Objectives
Determine why young professionals are leaving the fundraising profession and/or AFP
Identify needs to solve the problem/identify what young professionals and emerging leaders need to be successful in the profession
Create resources to keep them in the profession and prepare them to be leaders
Provide resources to senior professionals and leadership to educate them about how to keep emerging leaders in the profession and at their organizations
